(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- The Flamenco Nights @ Galeria West concert series, presented by TEATRO Sí, returns on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 7:30pm at the cozy Galeria West Art & Music Gallery, located at 111 Quimby Street in downtown Westfield, NJ. The event includes Spanish flamenco guitarist Pedro Cortes, vocalist & percussionist Jose Moreno, accomplished flamenco dancer Nelida Tirado and a special guest music artist for an exciting evening of internationally popular Flamenco Puro music & dance.
TEATRO Sí presents 10 monthly live concert performances of passionate flamenco music and dance for flamenco aficionados during each annual season. Along with special diverse guest artists, the experience reveals the pure emotional essence of this popular Iberian music and dance form. Together they celebrate the expressive flamenco as it takes on a new character and exposes the audience to the warmth of the human spirit as expressed through music and dance. The body movements and the facial expressions of the dancers join with the artistry of the musicians and singers to create a spectacle that is a treat for both the eye and the soul. Come experience an evening of Spanish gypsy culture with the casts of these captivating music and dance celebrations!
Tickets are priced at $25 for adults and $15 for children. Reservations and more information are also available by calling the Teatro Sí box office at 908-301-9496 or purchase in person at Galeria West Art & Music Gallery.
Also enjoy the current fine art exhibition at Galeria West Art & Music Gallery of works by internationally accomplished Dominican artist Magno Laracuente and acclaimed Swiss digital artist Stan Adard. We recommend planning on a fine meal or dessert at one of many fine restaurants in quaint downtown Westfield and the surrounding area before or after the show.
