Laura Osnes Hosts the Broadway Princess Party At NJPAC

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Two-time, Tony-nominated star Laura Osnes hosts the Broadway Princess Party with Benjamin Rauhala, Susan Egan, Courtney Reed, and Adam J. Levy in the Victoria Theater at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Saturday, September 15 at 8:00pm. Brush off your tiara and unleash your inner princess with Broadway's original Cinderella, Belle and Jasmine! Tickets start at $59.
Hosted by two-time, Tony-nominated star Laura Osnes (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella) and her own Fairy Godfairy, Benjamin Rauhala (musical director extraordinaire), the evening also stars the multitalented Susan Egan (Tony-nominated for Disney's Beauty and the Beast and the voice of Meg in Hercules); Courtney Reed (the original Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway), and special guest "Prince" Adam J. Levy (of Broadway's upcoming Dave)!

The princesses also are hosting a contest! Unleash Your Inner Princess is a talent search for a local princess to be featured in the concert alongside these Broadway stars. Young women ages 15-22 are invited to submit a video of themselves singing (one of three requested songs) for the chance to be chosen. Adding to the merriment, princes and princesses from 8 to 98 are encouraged to dress up in their best royal attire (or cosplay). Come see what hundreds of thousands of fans are raving about on YouTube! Casual attire is permitted, but princess prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

Kean Stage Presents The Manhattan Transfer (UNION, NJ) -- Going strong after more than 45 years, Grammy Award winner The Manhattan Transfer, with tenor vocals from Kean University alumnus Alan Paul '71, will captivate Kean Stage audiences with their distinctive four-part harmonies at Enlow Recital Hall on Sunday, September 30 at 3:00pm.3rd Annual North Jersey Indie Rock Festival (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival returns to Jersey City on October 6. Presented by Mint 400 Records and Sniffling Indie Kids, the festival includes acts from those labels and Little Dickman Records, Rhyme and Reason Records, and State Champion Records. The festival takes place at White Eagle Hall. Doors are at 4:00pm and the music starts at 4:30pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
