Paper Mill Playhouse announces cast and creative for "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical"

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the full cast and creative team for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, featuring a book by Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award nominee Douglas McGrath and words and music by Gerry Goffin & Carole King and Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil. Casey Hushion will helm the production, with choreography by Jennifer Werner and music direction by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett. Beautiful will play June 5–30, 2024 at Paper Mill Playhouse.

Top 15 high school jazz bands head to Jazz at Lincoln Center's Annual Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival

(NEW YORK, NY) -- No figure looms larger in the story of jazz than Duke Ellington whose artistic development and sustained achievement are among the most spectacular and influential in the history of music. On May 9-11, 2024 commemorating the 125th birthday of Duke Ellington — America's most prolific composer of the 20th century in both number of pieces and variety of forms — the top 15 high school-aged jazz bands from across the country will converge at Jazz at Lincoln Center's home, Frederick P.
