NJPAC presents A Conversation with Stephen Colbert and Paul Giamatti
(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents A Conversation with Stephen Colbert and Paul Giamatti on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 8:00pm. In this one-of-a-kind event, expect laughter and deep thoughts with two highly entertaining and provocative thinkers sharing ideas, stories and laughs as part of North to Shore Festival. The event is presented by the Montclair Film Festival.
Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials

Let the Sunshine In! "Hair" is coming to CDC Theatre in Cranford
(CRANFORD, NJ) -- The American classic rock-musical Hair, the final production of the 105th season at CDC Theatre, celebrates the sixties counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory. To an infectiously energetic rock beat, the show wows audiences with songs like "Aquarius," "Good Morning, Starshine," "Hair," "I Got Life" and "Let The Sunshine In." Exploring ideas of identity, community, global responsibility and peace, Hair remains as relevant as ever as it examines what it means to be a young person in a changing world.

Music lovers patiently wait this Saturday, April 6, 2024 evening inside South Orange, NJ's SOPAC for a sold-out concert by musician Rufus Wainwright. The Canadian-American singer/songwriter is not only known for producing critically acclaimed studio albums including 2001's Poses, but for performing on television on shows such as Joni 75: A Birthday Celebration and Tony Bennett Celebrates 90, in addition to providing songs for motion pictures including I Am Sam, Moulin Rouge, Zoolander, and Shrek.

Vivid Stage has art show and special events during "Kodachrome" run
(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, will present the New Jersey premiere of Kodachrome, a play about love, nostalgia, the seasons and how we learn to say goodbye, written by Adam Szymkowicz, from April 18-28, 2024. During the run of the production, there will be a lobby art exhibit, free talkbacks, and a Friends and Family Night, in addition to other special events.
