(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre presents platinum-selling singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Paul Rodgers on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 8pm. Rodgers is known for his worldwide success with the bands Free, Bad Company, and The Firm. Tickets range from $35-85.

The battle between New York and New Jersey will have a ceasefire on June 29, 2014, when Joe D'Urso (a fixture in the music scenes of both states) presents the Rockland-Bergen Music Festival on the borders of Rockland and Bergen counties at the German Masonic Fairgrounds in Tappan, NY. The day-long festival will feature over 20 artists on two stages, including performances by Willie Nile, Jesse Malin, John Eddie, James Maddock, Tom Chapin, McMule, and Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan.

John Sheehan is a singer, songwriter and finger-style guitarist. John who heralds from Ringwood, New Jersey has a number of solo albums to his credit along with a list of songs that have been used as backdrops in videos. Sheehan cites J.S. Bach and John Fahey as some of his many musical influences. In addition to area gigs, John also teaches banjo and guitar.
