(VINELAND, NJ) -- The winning floats have been announced for the Main Street Vineland Christmas Parade. The parade, organized by Main Street Vineland, with major sponsorship by BB&T, South Jersey Gas as the Clean Energy Sponsor, and supporting sponsorship by Newfield National Bank, had the theme “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and took place on Saturday, November 30, on Landis Avenue in Vineland.
“The Christmas Parade has long been a Vineland tradition and has always been one of our largest events of the year. The participants always put in a great deal of hard work, and this tremendous spirit, effort, and dedication constantly shows,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “No matter the weather from year to year, it doesn’t dampen the spirit of the participants and those who work so hard to make the parade possible.”
The judging of various parade participant categories rated first, second, and third place winners for floats in two divisions—“Grand” for large floats and “Petite” for smaller floats.
“The volunteers and others who put in so much time every year planning and organizing the parade all came together again to make it run smoothly. It is a Vineland tradition that continues and gets better each year, helping to make The Ave come alive with holiday cheer. Kudos go to everyone who made this parade another success.”
