(Haddon Township, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company presents its June Festival with a lineup that includes a night of one act plays by local playwrights and productions of Next Fall and Stop Kiss. All shows are performed in an intimate Black Box style on the stage at The Ritz.
The first event is A Night Of One Acts which plays June 9th and 10th both at 7:30pm. This show features 4 original one Act plays by local playwrights.
The following weekend the present Next Fall on June 16th and 17th both at 7:30pm. Next Fall is a play written by Geoffrey Nauffts. The play is about two gay men in a committed relationship with a twist, with one, Luke, being devoutly religious and the other, Adam, an atheist. The play revolves around their five-year relationship and how they make it work despite their differences. However, when an accident changes everything, Adam must turn to Luke’s family for support and answers.
The final show of the festival is Stop Kiss which plays June 23rd and 24th both at 7:30pm. Stop Kiss is a play written by the American playwright Diana Son. A poignant and funny play about the ways, both sudden and slow, that lives can change irrevocably,” says Variety. After Callie meets Sara, the two unexpectedly fall in love. Their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate.
