(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The East Brunswick Historical Society presents, “The History of East Brunswick: From 1860 to Now” on Sunday, February 23 at 2:00pm at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center. Two speakers will walk you through the history of the Township. Refreshments will be available.
First, is Manny Alvarez, President of the East Brunswick Historical Society and Historian. Also speaking is Mark Nonestied, Division Head of the Office of Arts and History of Middlesex County and a contributing member of the East Brunswick Museum. Mr. Nonestied is also the author of “East Brunswick Images of America” published in 1999 and “New Jersey Cemeteries and Tombstones”.
Additionally, the Mayor of East Brunswick, Brad Cohen, will provide comments. There will also be a slideshow showing pictures of East Brunswick’s past and present.
East Brunswick Community Arts Center is located at 721 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Snow date is Sunday, March 8. For additional information, please call 732-249-7397.
