The Boardwalk Kings & Unable Music Group Sponsor A Benefit Concert In Clementon On Human Trafficking Awareness Day

The Boardwalk Kings & Unable Music Group
Sponsor A Benefit Concert In Clementon On Human Trafficking Awareness Day(CLEMENTON, NJ) -- You could be forgiven if you’ve not yet heard of The Boardwalk Kings. The Philly-based rock group is relatively new on the scene, but their members are not. Their veteran lineup, including former Rushmore frontman Travis Coffin, brings a polished and friendly brand of alternative rock with a punk rock soul. Wasting no time in making an impact on their community and the music scene, The Boardwalk Kings together with Cherry Hill, NJ-based Unable Music Group, have teamed up with some of the biggest names in music to support the Rock Against Trafficking charity project.

Working the local awareness and fundraising efforts for Rock Against Trafficking, The Boardwalk Kings and Unable Music Group are sponsoring a benefit concert to be held on Human Trafficking Awareness Day, on Friday January 11, 2019. The event, which will kick off at 8:30pm at Harper’s Pub (1 Gibbsboro Rd) in Clementon, NJ will feature music by The Boardwalk Kings, Greedo’s Ghost, and Kissing the Klepto. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Los Angeles-based Rock Against Trafficking, and attendees will also have the ability to donate directly to the charity. Perhaps the most exciting part of the event, however, is the awareness that this event will bring to Rock Against Trafficking and its huge, ongoing musical project.

Rock Against Trafficking is a non-profit charity driven by seasoned music industry veterans who are taking action to end human trafficking on a global scale. To that end, Rock Against Trafficking has enlisted an A-list lineup of artists, including Journey, Slash, Santana, Rob Thomas, Heart, En Vogue, Glenn Hughes, and others, to bring awareness and funding to combat this global scourge. Rock Against Trafficking has announced the upcoming release, slated for later this year, of a star-studded benefit album. Already, the charity has released two singles from the new album, including a cover of The Police’s “Synchronicity II” by the legendary rock band Journey.

According to Rock Against Trafficking, there are currently over 40 million people trapped in slavery conditions across the globe, and approximately 25% of them are children. UNICEF’s horrific data shows that a child is prepared for sexual exploitation every two minutes. Human/Child Trafficking is easily the world’s most heinous issue, while simultaneously being the least discussed. Rock Against Trafficking creates unique music, events and other products to entertain, engage, and educate audiences while raising financial resources for the organizations who most need the support to end Human Trafficking.
