The Bimah Players Present "Better Together"

(MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Families are feuding. The country is polarized. Political and international conflicts are escalating. Time to laugh and get along because we're better together.  That's the message behind Better Together, an original comedy with music based on the plays of Joseph A. Dewan.  It will be presented in April by The Bimah Players at the Monroe Township Jewish Center.

A heartwarming and thought-provoking comedy with music, Better Together is an antidote to these toxic times of polarization and escalating political and international conflict.  Five, very funny one-act plays by Joseph A. Dewan, woven together with delightful songs, prove that in spite of how different we are, we can get along.

Performances will take place on Sunday, April 15 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; Sunday, April 22 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; Thursday, April 26 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, April 29 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm.  All performances are at the Monroe Township Jewish Center, 11 Cornell Avenue in Monroe Twp, New Jersey.  Admission is $10.

Sponsored by the Monroe Township Jewish Center, The Bimah Players was established in 2010. Its mission is to bring literature to life through the dramatization of stories and poetry by great classic authors and to present the work of new and local playwrights.  Productions also incorporate a wide range of music, from classical to folk and pop.  The company does not perform on Jewish holidays or the Sabbath, but welcomes people of all faiths, ages, ethnic backgrounds, and physical abilities who possess the talent and willingness to work on stage or behind the scenes.
