(WOODBRIDGE, NJ) -- The Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre, New Jersey’s premier Spanish Dance Company will presents its NEW production: The Italian Connection on Sunday, October 27 at 3:00pm in the Arthur Laurents Theatre in the newly built New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. Alborada’s critically acclaimed dancers and musicians, including flamenco singer, Pedro Jimenez from Jerez de la Frontera, in collaboration with guest artists, I Giullari Di Piazza, headed by the well-known singer/dancer and author Alessandra Belloni will fill the theatre with the sights and sounds of Spain and Italy, in a celebration of shared roots and unique cultural identities.
Spain’s rule over the Kingdoms of Naples and Sicily created a lasting cultural bond between Spain’s and Italy’s great music and dance genres, enduring for centuries. From fiery Flamenco to frenzied Tarantellas, Alborada will delight audiences of all ages with twirling skirts and fans; clicking castanets; pounding feet; shaking tambourines and strumming guitars!
The Arthur Laurents Theater is located in the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (11 Livingston Street) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
