While you socialize and sip at October 4th’s Oktoberfest (6:00pm-9:00pm), expect a full lineup of seasonal beers paired with traditional German pretzels, sausage, brisket and a spitroast, pig (of course). And you won’t want to miss The Alpine Trio, a three piece German “Om Pah Pah” band led by local accordion legend Gene Tirpak! Admission to see the band is free of charge in our garden space, but premium seating and our traditional German-style Oktoberfest menu is available for $29.99 by reservation. Back (from the dead) by popular demand, REV Theatre Co’s “graveyard cabaret” performance of FUNeral makes it’s wicked way over to Riverview Live’s outdoor patio and lawn space. On October 11th and 12th, sip a craft cocktail and enjoy a fall-themed, three-course meal as darkness falls and three lost (singing) souls appear through the mists for a toe-tapping, spine-tingling evening. But beware, PhillyVoice warns it’s a show that, “spooks and stirs the soul.” Dinner begins at 6:00pm, and the performers will appear at 7:00pm to execute their hauntingly beautiful songs. $20 performance-only tickets are available, but $45 gets you dinner and premium seating for the show. Not to be outdone by a gaggle of ghouls, Cabaret queen Liza Minelli returns to Riverview Live for October 13th’s Brunch with the Stars! The second in a series of our drag brunches, diva Devon Cass dishes out spot-on celebrity impersonation with a side of sass. At 11:00am, enjoy a scrumptious brunch in the presence of the Queen of Hollywood and Broadway for $20/person or purchase a VIP ticket to get the full brunch experience. Your $50 VIP ticket includes your premium show seating, a bakery basket, your choice of a brunch entree, a bottle of prosecco for two, and a coffee or tea. Tickets available for purchase online.
Closing out the month, Riverview Live kicks off it’s Cocktail Cabaret series with a performance by All the Johns, a singing group made up of three men named John...and a pianist called Andrew. Cozy up in our Upstairs Lounge for a night of intimate, cabaret-style music featuring classics and popular music while you sip a cocktail and enjoy Riverview Restaurant’s unique and fresh cuisine- with a kick. Your $45 ticket includes the performance and a three course meal chosen from our seasonal menu, with drinks available to order.
