(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Playhouse 22, East Brunswick's Community Theater, presents the classic musical Grease.  Set at Rydell High School, a fictional high school in the late 1950s, it's the story of the Burger Palace Boys lead by Danny Zuko, The Pink Ladies, and an innocent new girl from another high school, Sandy.

The show runs March 24 - April 9, with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m.  Tickets are $22/adults and $20/seniors and students, and can be purchased online at Playhouse22.org; calling the Box Office at (732) 254-3939; or at the door on the day of the performance.

Famous songs from the show include "We Go Together,"  "Summer Nights," and "  You're the One That I Want". 

The musical is written by Jim Jacobs, Warren Casey, and John Farrar.  Playhouse 22's production is directed by Christian Carrara, music direction by Raymond Zipf, and choreography by Raven Dunbar. 

The cast includes CJ Carter as Danny Zuko; Maddie Chmielowicz as Sandy Dumbrowski; Jaclyn Angstreich as Betty Rizzo; Julie Freeman as Frenchy; Katy Widmer as Marty; Jessica Musolino as Jan; Kevin Albanese as Doody; Mark Piltz, Jr. as Kenickie; Alexander Portera as Sonny Latierri; Tyler Barnick as Roger; Kelly Kline as Patty Simcox; Melanie Belonis as Cha-Cha DiGregorio; JC DeMaria as Eugene Florczyk; Sherry Lilenfeld as Miss Lynch; Thom Boyer as Vince Fontaine; Chris Abbott as Johnny Casino; and features Lindsey Jordon and William DeJianne.
