(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Outpost in the Burbs presents a “Beatles Bash” with The Weeklings on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at 8:00pm (7:30pm doors) at the First Congregational Church, 40 S. Fullerton Avenue. This show will feature the music of The Beatles and more, with selections from The Beatles early years plus music from the ground breaking albums Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, the White Album, and the seminal Abbey Road which is celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary. Performing with a 10-piece orchestra, The Weeklings will also include some of their fan-favorite original songs.
The Weeklings have recently performed with the Nashville Symphony in much this same manner to a sold-out house at the famous Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN as well as at the Pollak Theatre at Monmouth University for the “International Beatles Symposium” celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the White Album.
The Weeklings, America’s most unique celebration of the music and muse of The Beatles, feature former members of Styx, the original Beatlemania on Broadway, Jon Bon Jovi & The Kings of Suburbia, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, Max Weinberg’s Jukebox and Liverpool to name a few of the artists and productions they’ve been a part of. They perform explosive renditions of Beatles classics and uniquely arranged Beatles nuggets such as "Paperback Writer", "Baby You're a Rich Man" and “I Am the Walrus.”
The Weeklings bring The Beatles to life through their extraordinary musicianship, exceptional vocals, and charming stage presence.
The Weeklings are Glen Burtnik aka "Lefty Weekling" (bass/vocals), Bob Burger aka "Zeek Weekling" (rhythm guitar/vocals), John Merjave aka "Rocky Weekling" (lead guitar/vocals) and Joe Bellia aka “Smokestack Weekling" (drums/vocals).
