New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performs free summer concert at Ocean County College

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performs a free outdoor concert of Broadway songs, opera overtures and more at Ocean County College in Toms River on Tuesday, June 26 at 8:00pm. This event is sponsored by JCP&L/FirstEnergy Foundation and PNC Bank and presented in partnership with Ocean County College.

The program features the overture from Crazy for You, Rossini’s overture to William Tell and more family-friendly favorites You may even hear a familiar tune from a galaxy far, far away!

Patrons can enter the NJSO’s annual photo contest to win a three-concert Compose Your Own subscription for two for the 2018–19 season.

NJSO President & CEO Gabriel van Aalst says: “Audiences can experience great live music up close at our free summer parks concerts. As the state orchestra of New Jersey, we are committed to engaging with communities across the Garden State and are thrilled to expand our parks series to Ocean County this summer.”

PNC Bank New Jersey Regional President and NJSO Board of Trustees Co-Chair Linda Bowden says: “The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra is an essential part of the cultural experience in the Garden State. José Luis Domínguez conducts the summer parks concerts, which are an annual tradition that reflects the Orchestra’s commitment to bringing live symphonic music to communities throughout the state.
