(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The complete lineup for the New Alternative Music Festival has been announced. The event will be held September 16th-18th at the Asbury Park Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ.

The festival will also now feature an additional stage hosted by Asbury Park-based organization, Stage A Revolution. Stage A Revolution is a music and mentoring program that empowers girls and women through music education, volunteerism, and activities that foster self-respect, leadership skills, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. It’s a Girls Rock Camp Alliance-affiliated organization that aims to host events and workshops year-round, with its first summer day camp in Asbury Park next summer (2017).
The festival will also be hosting two after-show events in collaboration with the Asbury Park Feminist Collective at a venue to be announced. Each will feature four bands and will be free and open to the public.

The New Alternative Music Festival is a three-day celebration of independent music organized by Don Giovanni Records. It is a one-time-only event and will not be repeated in subsequent years. The shows will be all ages.

While the Convention Hall can hold many thousands of people, the space we are using for the fest holds far less, with only 900 tickets available each day. Please plan accordingly.
