(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Escape to one of the most welcoming and vibrant cities in America when the Monmouth County Park System hosts Destination: Asheville, NC. This multi-overnight trip begins when the bus leaves at 7:00am on Monday, July 15, from Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, and travels to Asheville, NC. It returns at approximately 7:00pm on Saturday, July 20.
This five-night trip includes two major "must-sees": the beauty and grandeur of the Biltmore Estate and a guided drive of the picturesque scenery of "America's Favorite Drive," the Blue Ridge Parkway. Additional trip highlights include a trolley tour of Asheville, NC; Antler Hill Village with a Winery Tour; and self-guided tours of St. Lawrence Basilica and the Folk Art Center Museum of Appalachian Arts and Crafts. There may be some free time for additional sightseeing on your own.
Tour price includes round-trip motor coach transportation, accommodations, admissions to scheduled tours and attractions, daily breakfasts, 3 dinners, luggage handling, taxes, meal gratuities and Park System volunteer leader. Per person rates are $1,050-single; $985-double; $810-triple; $780-quadruple; and $320-child. Pre-registration required.
