(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Looking for some fun and excitement? Head to the Monmouth County Fair! Held Wednesday-Sunday, July 26-30, at East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold, this event features rides, opening night fireworks, live musical entertainment, Home and Garden Competitions, 4-H shows and exhibits, and much more. Highlights of this year’s event include World of Wonders & Escape Explosions, Hell on Wheels, Mutts Gone Nuts, Robot Ranger “Royale” and Hilby the Skinny German Juggling Boy.
There will be plenty of returning favorites including Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show and Robinson’s Racing Pigs. See Bwana Jim and his unique collection of snakes, gators and exotic creatures during this educational and high-spirited show. Then be sure to catch the racing pigs as they compete for a cookie amid cheers and squeals from the crowd. Both Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show and Robinson’s Racing Pigs will be at the Fair all five nights.
Once again, the Fair rides are provided by Reithoffer Shows and will feature a separate Kids Zone Ride Area that’s perfect for younger children. Families and little ones will enjoy the Hero Zone, Speedway, Circus Train and more. Those looking for excitement should check out the Air Race, Wild Claw and Zero Gravity.
Be sure to get your fill of rides by taking advantage of ride wristbands. Now available daily, these wristbands allow fairgoers to enjoy unlimited rides on any one day. Ride wristbands can be purchased online at Reithoffer Shows’ website for $25 each. Online sales end July 25. Wristbands will also be available for purchase at the Fair for $25 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; and $30 on Friday and Saturday. Single ride tickets will also be available daily.
