(LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- On May 27th, New Jersey based clothing line Karma Cartel takes over the historic Strand Theater in Lakewood, NJ, to bring the first ever Streetwear Affair. Featuring clothing, accessories, and entertainment from throughout the tri-state area, this event will function as a vendor market for up and coming brands and local retailers across the region. Admission is free.  The event begins at 11:00am.

The vendors at this event range from footwear to apparel to accessories. "It was a thought I had a few years ago, to just have a showcase of local clothing brands," says Karma Cartel co-founder Chris Rockwell, "but I wanted people to be able to shop, too." And shop they will; this event will take over the Strand's GALLERY space, as well as the entire lobby.

The event is meant to bring different people together. Karma Cartel co-founder Jose Serrano remarks, "We're looking to work with any small business. Whether you have a clothing line yourself, or are a videographer, photographer, jewelry maker, computer tech. Let's work together."

With confirmed appearances from established music artists Epoch Failure (as seen on NFL Network and Fox Sports) and Kiirstin Marilyn (Spectra Music Group), the entertainment of the day is sure to deliver as well.

The Strand Theater is located at 400 Clifton Avenue in Lakewood, NJ.
