(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- For 2020, the finalists selected for FilmOneFest will be presented in 30-minute episodes for four consecutive Tuesdays leading up to the festival date—June 23, June 30, July 7 and July 14 -- all at 8:00 PM on Facebook Live. PJ Bracco, an award-winning actor/director, is helping to produce what essentially will look like a TV series with films, interviews, and other content. Since it is a celebration of super-short films they thought it would be fun to present them in a way that is itself a shorter format.
On July 18, the date of the festival, FOF winners will be announced at 8:00pm, again on Facebook Live. They will compile the four episodes into a traditional festival showcase and present it on a big screen in a local movie theater at a later date. There will be no outdoor festival this summer, but selected films will be shown both online in June and July, and later as a single live event in a theater, hopefully in the fall.
