(HAMMONTON, NJ) -- Eagle Theatre Conservatory’s 2017 Summer Theatre Intensive is ready to shine the spotlight on your star with an exciting brand new curriculum for a summer camp guaranteed to provide training and performance, while offering opportunities for aspiring actors to build skills that will be applied in front of a live audience.
Each day a variety of intensives will be held by professional teaching artists, including; acting, music, improvisation, dance, audition prep, scene study, stage combat, sketch comedy, and technical theatre. All skills will be showcased by the enrollees, in an on-stage performance of GODSPELL, JR., presented on the Eagle Theatre’s original professional Equity set.

GODSPELL JR. tells the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty, and love. Eagle Theatre Conservatory presents a troupe of eccentric young stars ready to rock the audience right out of their seat! Chockfull of hit rock songs, and topical humor, GODSPELL JR, modernizes a series of parables by using a wide variety of games, and exciting storytelling techniques.
CAMP runs July 10th, 2017 – August 9th, 2017, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m. Performances for GODSPELL JR. will take place on August 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2017.

Eagle Theatre originally opened its doors in 1914 as a silent movie theatre. The theatre was restored in 2009 to serve as a performing arts center. Since the reopening, Eagle Theatre has quickly grown into a nationally recognized non-profit producing organization.
