11th Annual Salem County Arts In Bloom Offers Studio and Gallery Tours

(SALEM COUNTY, NJ) -- For the eleventh year in a row, artists from all over Salem County are opening their studios to the public for a two-day, county-wide art event. Hidden Treasures is the 2019 theme, with the tour offering visitors a variety of art treasures to discover. Salem County Arts in Bloom is a free, two-day art event that will take place on May 18 - 19 and will span many locations throughout Salem County, New Jersey, including; Alloway, Canton, Elmer, Elsinboro, Lower Alloways Creek, Mannington, Monroeville, Pedricktown, Pennsville, Pilesgrove, Pittsgrove, Salem, and Woodstown.
Guests will enjoy studio and gallery tours featuring South Jersey artists. Visitors will be able to participate in activities designed for both adults and children including; pottery demonstrations, painting, fiber arts, puppetry, and much more. More than 50 artists working in a variety of media will open their studios and feature their work. This increasingly popular event offers visitors an opportunity to see the spaces where local art is created while exploring Salem County’s beautiful countryside.
The “Dig Into Art” program includes events and activities specifically designed for children. Activities include; glass mosaic art, water color paining, paper sculptures, puppet making and simple woodshaping techniques.
