(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Rosie's Cafe plays host to another CD release this month with a special show celebrating the release of George Wirth's latest record. The show takes place at the Atonement Lutheran Church Hall (308 First Avenue) in Asbury Park on Sunday, August 1 at 7pm. Doors are at 6:30pm, admission is a $5 suggestion donation, and free parking is available.

Also performing will be Abbie Gardner (Red Molly), Janey Todd, and Jim McCarthy. All three performers appear on Wirth's new CD, "The Last Good Kiss".

Wirth has been recognized as one of the leading songwriters in the Asbury Park scene over the past decade. His wife, Brenda, runs the "Rosie's Cafe" shows in the grand tradition of "house concerts". Food, water, and coffee are provided but attendees are encouraged to bring additional food or beverages. Often, beer and wine and an assortment of desserts will be among the potluck provided by guests.

To reserve a seat, please contact Brenda at 732-600-1703.
