(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with Jersey comedian Tom Papa who shines a spotlight on the absurdity of everyday life with hilarious observations about marriage, parenting and adulthood. Tom will perform at the Victoria Theater on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $35.
New Jersey’s own Tom Papa hits home with his hilarious observations about marriage, parenting and adulthood. From living with toddlers (“the worst roommates on the planet”) to attempting to Skype with aging parents, this stand-up comedian shines a spotlight on the absurdity of our everyday lives.
A popular fixture on the comedy circuit for more than 20 years, Papa is a favorite of Jerry Seinfeld and a regular on late-night TV. He is also a television and film actor whose credits include Behind the Candelabra with Matt Damon and Michael Douglas, and the Cinemax original series The Knick with Clive Owen.
Papa hosts the hit SiriusXM show Come To Papa, a weekly radio broadcast that features interviews with legends of comedy, film and beyond, from Mel Brooks to Mario Batali. His two comedy specials, Tom Papa: Freaked Out and Tom Papa Live in New York City, can be downloaded or streamed on Netflix.
