(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Award-winning burlesque performers are coming to New Brunswick for one night at the George Street Playhouse. On Saturday January 9, 2016 at 8pm, the Ale 'N 'Wich presents Burlesque-A-Pades, a sexy, sultry, randy, and racy stage show featuring Queen Angie Pontani and a cast of todays top teasers and variety performers: The Maine Attraction, Missy Lisa, Ginger Valentine, Calamity Chang, Renee Holiday and from Dallas, Texas! The Ruby Revue.
This sizzling show harkens back to a more glamorous time in entertainment, evoking the classic imagery and feel of traditional burlesque, but with modern twists and turns that will have you cheering in the aisles.
Burlesque-A-Pades has toured the nation several times to rave reviews and sold out crowds. The cast was recently hand picked by Lady Gaga to dance in her Emmy nominated PBS special Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett.
The night features side-splitting humor, earthquake inducing shimmies, spark igniting tap dances, high kicks and back flips and much-much more. Running time is 90 minutes with 15 minutes intermission.
The Ale 'N 'Wich has lined up special discounted rates at Clydz (55 Paterson Street), Destination Dogs (101 Paterson Street) and Harvest Moon (392 George Street) for dinner before the show. Just show your tickets to receive a discount.
In addition, Rutgers students & employees receive a discount, with their ID’s on tickets purchased at the box office only. Only a limited amount of these tickets are available.
