Cumberland Players Presents "Blithe Spirit" In October(VINELAND, NJ) -- The Cumberland Players of Vineland, NJ  present Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward, this October. Right in time for Halloween, Blithe Spirit is a ghostly comedy that will have you jumping in your seats and laughing out loud. This smash comedy was a hit on the London and Broadway stages.

Blithe Spirit runs October 23, 24, 30 & 31 at 8 p.m. and October 25 at 2 p.m. at Cumberland Players home theater, the “Little Theatre,” located at 66 East Sherman Avenue in Vineland, NJ. Celebrate Halloween at the special show time at 8pm on Halloween night! Tickets are $15, or $12 for seniors, and are available now at CumberlandPlayers.com.

Charles Condomine, a novelist, is re-married but haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, the clever and insistent Elvira. As personalities clash, Charles' current wife Ruth joins Elvira and the two "blithe spirits" haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity. The talented cast of Blithe Spirit features D.M. Farley as Charles, Maura Jarve as Ruth, and Ginny Miles as Elvira. Heidi Dugan plays the mysterious medium Madame Arcati, Laura Farley is Edith the maid, and Hank Chandless and Patty Davis are Dr. and Mrs. Bradman.

Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts / Department of State and the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders through the Cumberland County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
