Readington Community Theatre will present Neil Simon's California Suite in November at the Polish American Citizens Club Liberty Theater, 29 Kline Blvd., Whitehouse Station. The play is a rollicking comedy in two acts which takes place in the Beverly Hills Hotel. The production runs Thursday through Sunday, November 12, 13, 14 at 8 pm & November 15 at 2 pm.
The cast includes “Visitors from New York” with Nadine Maleski of Flemington and Paul Olson of Whitehouse Station, “Visitors from Philadelphia” with Joseph Vinciguerra, Janet DePaolo and Lucia Kunka of Whitehouse Station; “Visitors From London” with Denise Hickson of High Bridge and Dan Mazelis of Washington; “Visitors from Chicago” Laurie Hammond of Lebanon, John Kunka, Marlene Cocchiola and Frank Bergson of Whitehouse Station.
Ken Parry, a Flemington resident who has a Masters Degree in Directing from Hunter College and has studied at the HB Studio in NYC and says he is certain that Costume Coordinator/Propmeister Laurie Hammond will dress and equip the show to properly reflect the fashions and fads of the late 70s. “
RCT President Joe Vinciguerra is looking forward to California Suite and welcomes Kimberly Coombs of Whitehouse Station who will chair the Benfactors, Fundraising and Grants Committee. Kim brings over a decade of experience as a professional fundraiser for Hunterdon Healthcare and the Diocese of Metuchen. A graduate of Colgate University, Kim also has an extensive education background as a teacher and is on multiple boards in Readington. She serves on multiple ministries at Our Lady of Lourdes, is a member of three choral groups and an actor-alumni of RCT's production of "The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What?"
RCT is looking for Angels to donate $1000 for sound and lighting equipment in exchange for extensive advertising promotion on all their show notices.
