Jerry Seinfeld To Perform At NJPAC - SECOND SHOW ADDED

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Jerry Seinfeld will perform his signature stand-up routine at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Friday, December 4 at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.  Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere. Seinfeld now sets his sights on performing both nationally and internationally in 2015.

Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy career took off after his first appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create what was to become the most successful comedy series in the history of television: Seinfeld.

The show ran on NBC for nine seasons, winning numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards, and was named the greatest television show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide. In 2012, it was identified as the best sitcom ever in a 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll.

Seinfeld has also starred in, written and produced movies (Comedian, Bee Movie), directed and produced a Broadway hit (Colin Quinn: Long Story Short), and even wrote a best-selling book (Seinlanguage) and a children’s book (Halloween).

Tickets are available at www.njpac.org, the NJPAC Box Office or charge by phone 1-888-GO-NJPAC or 1-888-466-5722.  Tickets range from $49.50 - $150.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), located at One Center Street in downtown Newark, New Jersey, is among the largest performing arts centers in the United States and is the artistic, cultural, educational and civic center of New Jersey -- where great performances and events enhance and transform lives every day. As New Jersey’s Town Square, NJPAC brings diverse communities together, providing access to all and showcasing the State’s and the world’s best artists while acting as a leading catalyst in the revitalization of its home city. Through its extensive Arts Education programs, NJPAC is shaping the next generation of artists and arts enthusiasts. NJPAC has attracted over nine million visitors (including more than one million children) since opening its doors in 1997, and nurtures meaningful and lasting relationships with each of its constituents.
