(BELMAR, NJ) -- Shore Reflections; An Artisan Market is an annual summer boutique at the Belmar Arts Council featuring the finest in handcrafted jewelry, pottery, soaps, home décor and accessories from 24 local artisans. A variety of self published books from local authors are also featured in this sale. All items are available for immediate purchase and artists replenish their sold works throughout the show. Shore Reflections, which is on exhibit from July 29 through September 18, 2015, is sponsored by Jersey Shore Moments: A Fine Art & Framing Gallery located in Manasquan. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday 1-5pm, Friday and Saturday until 7pm.
In conjunction with Shore Reflections, two solo exhibits will be featured in the Rear Gallery space. "Catcentric" featuring dozens of works from Sue Kasdon, a printmaker and mixed media artist will be shown from July 29 - August 21. "Faux Real": Digital Art by photographer Gary Dates will run August 22 - September 18. The opening reception for "Catcentric" will be held in conjunction with the Shore Reflections opening on Saturday, August 1 from 5-7pm. The opening reception for "Faux Real" is scheduled for Saturday, August 22 from 5-7pm. The public is welcome to attend any of our receptions. All of Sue & Gary's works are also available for immediate purchase.
BelmarArts is a welcoming, progressive, membership based gallery offering diverse and exciting experiences in both the visual and performing arts for people of all ages, all year-round. Our mission includes promoting expanded public participation in and support for the arts. Membership is open to all. The organization, founded in 2004, is a non-profit corporation staffed primarily by volunteers and governed by a Board of Trustees. The Gallery is located at "The Boatworks" at 608 River Road, corner of Railroad and 7th Ave., in Belmar. Gallery admission and parking are free and the building is fully accessible.
