(RAHWAY, NJ) -- Play a day of golf and help Union County children get a year's worth of arts education. The second annual UCPAC Golf Classic fundraiser takes place Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Galloping Hill Golf Course, 3 Golf Drive, in Kenilworth, N.J., with registration at 7:30 a.m. and a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Proceeds help Union County Performing Arts Center supplement its Youth Arts Fund, which provides arts education programs for Union County residents throughout the year.
The outing includes a $100 gift card to every player courtesy of Crown Cadillac, greens fees, golf cart, bag handling, golf prizes and locker room availability. Golfers also will enjoy a continental breakfast, beverage cart, hot dog stand on the course and a buffet lunch/banquet with awards, prizes and silent auction.
UCPAC Golf Classic fees are $175 (individual), $675 (foursome) and $75 (banquet only). Register online at ucpac.org or call (732) 499-8226. Registration deadline is Aug. 5. Union County Performing Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit that operates the historic 1,335-seat Rahway Theatre, a beautifully restored 1928 vaudeville and movie palace, and the 199-seat Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts, both located in the heart of Rahway Arts District.
