BergenPAC Presents Photography by Joseph Moretti

(Englewood, NJ) --  Bergen Performing Arts Center presents Photography by Joseph Moretti. The exhibit is in residence at The Intermezzo Gallery on the 2nd floor of the bergenPAC July 1-30, 2015. The gallery is open to the general public free of charge during box office hours Mon-Fri 11AM – 4PM Saturday 12PM to 4PM. A free reception will take place Monday July 6, 2015 6-8PM.

Joseph Moretti is an Oradell, NJ 9-year-old who loves to take photographs. Since age 4, Joseph has photographed all the things that capture “his world” — Sunflowers he grows from seed every spring. A secret alley behind the camera shop. The “Castle” in town. Stained-glass windows. Skyscrapers on 42nd Street. People and pigeons in Times Square. The wings of a butterfly. A snail on a fig tree. A Bald Eagle. George Washington. His own reflection.

Joseph’s photographs have previously been exhibited at Martin Hick’s Gallery/The Belskie Museum in Closter. For the past two years, he was awarded Bergen County honors from Reflections — the National PTA arts recognition program — for three photographs: “Good Morning, Sunflower!,” “Welcome to America,” and “Go Snail! You Can Do It!”

When not taking photographs, Joseph can be found playing baseball, chess, and Plants vs Zombies.

BergenPAC is located at located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey.  Founded in 2003, the 1,367-seat Bergen Performing Arts Center, or bergenPAC, is the area’s cultural mecca. Housed in a historic Art Deco-style theater boasting one of the finest acoustic halls in the United States, bergenPAC attracts a stellar roster of world-class entertainment.
