(Newton, NJ) -- The Big Apple Comedy Club returns to The Newton Theatre on Friday, July 17th at 8:00 pm. The show features hilarious New York City comedians Robyn Schall, Andy Pitz, Stone and Stone and J.J. Ramirez.
Named one of CBS.com’s “Top 5 standout comics in NY,” Robyn Schall has been taking the comedy scene by storm. In addition to having her own monthly show at Caroline’s on Broadway, she also performs all over the country. Robyn was the first place winner this year in the Hoboken Comedy Festival and featured in the NY Comedy Festival. She has two popular web-series titled “Not The Sharpest Crayon” and "Dumbbelles." She is also the co-host of the fitness podcast, "The BodCast". Look for more high profile appearances in the near future and beyond from this rising star!
Andy Pitz, is certainly on the rise. He is a regular at New York’s best comedy clubs including The World Famous Comic Strip Live, The Comedy Cellar and Dangerfield’s. One television, Andy has scored spots on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and as a winner on Star Search on CBS. Andy has also worked in Atlantic City and Las Vegas with numerous national acts including The Doobie Brothers.
Twins Stone and Stone were semi-finalists on "Last Comic Standing," they were the leads in a series of Verizon FiOS commercials, and they have performed on New York Friars Club roasts for people including Dennis Rodman, George Takei and Padma Lakshmi. They also host a web series presented by truTV called "Grown up, Grown down.” Their “Stone and Stone Show" is the longest-running standup show at The PIT, and you can find them performing at clubs and theaters throughout New York.
J.J. Ramirez is one of New York’s very best headliners. He is a regular at America’s best clubs, casinos and has appeared on television. It’s a comedy treat to see this great, high energy “Latin Lunatic” in action!
