The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening

(NEWARK, NJ) -- "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Scores of movie fans know that quote as well as dozens of others from The Princess Bride by heart.  They have the rare opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at this comedy classic when Cary Elwes (who portrayed the heroic Westley) comes to Prudential Hall at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Friday, May 1 at 7:30pm.  The night is called The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening.

After a screening of The Princess Bride, Elwes provides a moderated commentary on favorite scenes, revealing never-before-shared secrets and tales of inconceivable antics! Journey back to the lands of Florin and Guilder – filled with adventure, romance and intrigue. (And let’s not forget Rodents of Unusual Size!)

Cary Elwes has been seen in a multitude of films, including Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Dracula, Lady Jane, The Crush, Twister, Liar, Liar and many more. He is hitting the road to give fans the once-in-a-lifetime chance to capture this piece of cinematic history.

Tickets range from $29.50 - $49.50 and are available now at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722).  A limited number of packages include a meet-and-greet with Cary Elwes and a signed copy of his best-selling book, As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride.
