(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- art629 Gallery presents "Asbury Underground: The Locals," an exhibit featuring the artwork of 12 local artists curated by Asbury Underground. The exhibit will have an opening night party on November 22 and run through December 31 at the art629 Gallery, 629 Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park.
The exhibition which showcases the work of 12 artists who live and work in or around Asbury Park. Featured artists from Asbury Park are Patrick Schiavino, Pork Chop, Doug Fuchs, Denise Dmochowski, Linda Meyers, Brittany James, Maggie Brown, Mallory Massara, and Zachary Westfall. Other local artists included are Roddy Wildeman (Ocean Grove), Suzanne Anan (Belmar), Sarah Langsam (Bradley Beach).
The opening night party on November 22 runs from 7pm to 10pm and it open to the public.
Patrick Schiavino, owner and curator of art629 Gallery and founder of Asbury Underground states, "We here at art629 Gallery are very proud to be the catalyst behind this current exhibition, which once again showcases just how fertile this area is in the fine arts as well as our very historic musical heritage."
