(NEWARK, NJ) -- An explosive performance by multi-Grammy-nominated trombonist and composer Willie Colón, appearing with singer and musician Ismael Miranda, aka "El Niño Bonito de la Salsa," salsa romántica singer Eddie Santiago, and special guests in SalsaPalooza presented by New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at 8:00 PM in the Prudential Theater.

Tickets range from $39.50 to $95 and are availabel at www.NJpac.org or by calling 888.466.5722.

Bronx-born of Puerto Rican grandparents, Willie Colón has fused his passion for humanity, his community and his musical talents into an extraordinary and multifaceted career. As a composer, producer, arranger, singer and trombonist, he still holds the record as "the largest selling salsa artist of all time." Colón has recorded more than 40 albums and sold over 30 million records worldwide. His historic musical collaborators have included such Latin artists as Rubén Blades, Héctor Lavoe, Celia Cruz and the Fania All-Stars.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Manhattan, Ismael Miranda was a musical prodigy who first performed in the bands of percussionist Orlando "Q" Rodriguez and pianist Mark Diamond. A former member of the Fania All-Stars, he is credited with hits that include "Señor Sereno" and "La Cosa No Es Como Antes."

Eddie Santiago demonstrated a great talent and love for salsa music at an early age, singing with some of Puerto Rico's top orchestras, such as Generación 2000, Orquesta La Potente and Conjunto Chaney. His career took off in 1984 in a big way with hit-after-hit records, making him one of the most popular salsa singers of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Known as "The King of Salsa Romantica," Santiago has recorded 15 platinum or gold albums with performers including Elvis Crespo and Victor Manuelle.
