Rich Lynch Releases New Single - "Patriot Radio"

originally published: 08/20/2014
(Ringwood, NJ) -- Musician and Ringwood, New Jersey resident Rich Lynch is taking his message to the underground airwaves as he unleashes his next digital single called "Patriot Radio".

"We sent this track out to several broadcasters a few years back. The positive reaction was swift and ecstatic," Lynch said about the powerful rock song that he says summarizes the message of liberty minded talk shows. "We had a lot of enthusiastic support from the show hosts and the song was used as bumper music on their programs."

"But, at the time it wasn't yet commercially available," Rich added.

In fact, Lynch wasn't fully committed to the thought of making a career out of music until the idea for a revolutionary rock song came to him in the Fall of 2013 resulting in his first official digital single "I Want to Live in a Dome" that was released in April 2014.

"The Dome song launched me. We got a lot of great press and media coverage. Then, I remembered we had 'Patriot Radio' in the vaults with a proven track record."

In 2005, Lynch received airplay far and wide for his dynamically structured call to tune into what is often refereed to as underground alternative talk radio.

The song "Patriot Radio" features a procession of verses that ask "Is something wrong with our liberty?", "Whatever happened to our sovereignty?" and "Are we tilting toward tyranny?"- questions that Lynch suggests contain the distilled essence of the message heard on patriot radio stations and talk shows.

Lynch says, "It seems to me that the song is more relevant now than it was back in 2005 when we first sent it out. When you look at all the scandals, ongoing wars and loss of rights and privacy that have continued to unfold over the years this song can serve as an important benchmark and wake up call for the populace in general."

"I offer this song to honor the men and women who have the courage and dedication to speak their minds in defense of our great country," Lynch related regarding the underlying cause for this song. "I'm expecting and anticipating their support again in 2014 as it finally gets officially released to the public."

However, Lynch recalls that he didn't initially set out to compose the anthem for the truth-telling talk show hosts.

"I wanted to create a song that would help me practice guitar. The chord structure that runs through 'Patriot Radio' features all the majors from A through F," Lynch disclosed. In revealing one of the many techniques he uses for song-writing he continues. "I then wrote out the letters A through F vertically on a piece of paper and decided to assign a word randomly to each letter. The first lyrics written down were - America, Believe, Crisis, Deception, Elite, Federal, Government."

"Once I saw that I knew this was going to be an important song. The rest of the verses and refrain were literally completed in 10 minutes time."

The powerful one-two punch of "I Want to Live in a Dome" and "Patriot Radio" have propelled the Rich Lynch Band into the pantheon of performing artists now building careers one song at a time on the world wide web.

"There's more where this came from," says Lynch when asked what comes next. "I have more patriot and politically themed songs penned. I am requesting the support of fans to buy 'I Want To Live in a Dome' & 'Patriot Radio' to keep this vision moving forward."

The track - "PATRIOT RADIO" by the Rich Lynch Band - is now available on iTunes, Amazon.com and trusted digital distributors everywhere.
