Kaltura Connect 2014 – The Video Experience Conference and the Biggest Video Hackathon Ever

(New York, NY) -- Kaltura, the leading open source video platform (http://www.kaltura.com), recently announced that its annual event, Kaltura Connect 2014 – The Video Experience Conference, will take place in New York City on June 16-18. Now in its 4th year, Kaltura Connect is the 'go to' video industry conference, with more than 1,000 video experts, technologists, executives, and thought-leaders expected to attend this year. Kaltura Connect brings together thought-leaders and technologists for several events packed with great content and networking opportunities, the agenda will cover everything from drones and wearables to unveiling of new innovative video startups and tools for building video experiences. Kaltura will also unveil more about its recent acquisition of leading pay OTT TV provider Tvinci, and announce new video solutions for the education and enterprise sectors:

  • On June 13-15 Kaltura will hold its Video Experience Hackathon where developers and teams are invited to a weekend of coding to create an engaging Kaltura-based video experience app or service. Winners will present their app at Kaltura Connect with a chance to win a $50,000 prize.
  • On June 16 attendees will join a full day of Product and Technology Workshops, at the prestigious Essex House Hotel in New York City. The workshops will provide a deep-dive into specific Kaltura solutions, as well as hands-on interactive sessions that provide best practices and lessons learned from a wide array of video deployments and strategies.
  • On June 17-18 attendees will gather for the main conference at the iconic Jazz at Lincoln Center, for two days of inspiring keynotes, panels and sessions that will discuss the future online video, including topics such as OTT and monetization, video marketing, learning and training with video, video on the cloud and much more.
