Paper Streets are following up their 2012 self titled digital EP with a brand new physical release and SIMGE has surrounded the Indie-Rock purveyors with an eclectic lineup of local favorites that includes Jackson, NJ's own four-man string band Thomas Wesley Stern, who recently traveled to Nashville to cut the successor to a 2012 LP American Pain.
Also atop the bill is Tuckerton, NJ's The Everymen and Asbury's own Dentist.
The former's lauded 2012 LP, "New Jersey Hardcore", and raucous brass-coated live show has allowed the outfit to recently share the stage with such Indie-Punk luminaries as Titus Andronicus, The So So Glos, and King Khan & The Shrines, while the latter, a group composed of members of the recently defunct No Wine For Kittens, provides an intriguing brand of Surf-Pop akin to that of Best Coast.
Rounding out the lineup is Asbury's own soulful Experimental-Rock outfit Mad Feather Group, who is sure to insert a much needed injection of funky good times into our evening.
Doors for the event open at 6:30 p.m. with a cover of $8 to be paid upon admission.
